Trump removes Anthony Scaramucci from White House communications director role

SPREAD THE WORD:

Anthony Scaramucci has been removed from his position as White House communications director.

It didn't last long.

President Donald Trump has removed newly appointed Anthony Scaramucci as White House communications director, a title he took over from previous director Sean Spicer.

The termination comes in part after Scaramucci made multiple headlines with his brash, and often inappropriate ways of describing other White House officials such as calling Reince Priebus a "paranoid schizophrenic" and saying Stephen Bannon "sucks his own c--k".

Multiple sources within the White House confirm he has been removed by Trump at newly appointed chief of staff John Kelly's request.

Scaramucci had served just ten days before his termination.

Neither Scaramucci nor Trump has commented on the termination. However, the Associated Press confirms the word of Scaramucci's firing comes from Trump himself.

John Kelly, who we are now learning advised the Presiden't on Scaramucci's termination, has been praised repeatedly by Trump, who claims he will "do an excellent job" as chief of staff.

Sources from within the White House say Scaramucci's vulgarity-laced way of speaking had a strong influence on his termination.

Scaramucci made quick work in his just ten days, firing suspected White House leaker Michael Short, and threatening to fire the entire communications staff in an interview with the New York Times.

Scaramucci's hard-nosed attack on suspected leakers seems ironic, given the information of his firing leaked itself before White House officials could comment.

The story is developing, please check back later.
